Did anyone watch?

Interesting story but too soon to tell if it's something that will take off like Lost.

There was a billboard for Oceanic Air in the background of one of the shots when the two FBI guys are doing surveillance in the beginning.

I wonder if people in the Space Station also blacked out?

I watch it, I liked it, but I was not blown away, mostly because they'd already revealed almost everything shocking in reviews and commercials.

I guess the big mystery is what they showed in Detroit.?
I won't say what that is here for those who have not seen it yet

            Loved it!

So happy with a few shows on TV these days.

Fringe, Flashforward. Lie to Me (Tim found his niche) and yes still, after all this time - Realworld vs. Roadrules Challenges!

Speaking of "after all this time," I have finally managed to get past (or to at least set aside, for the moment) my aversion to the pompous, lowbrow, military drag-show aspect of Stargate SG-1 enough to enjoy some of the episodes on DVD while awaiting LOST's return. We are up to the second or third season of SG-1 at this point. Tons of ancient Egyptian pseudo-lore and rather nifty stylized ancient Egyptianesque art in SG-1; those sets must have cost a fortune to build.

ooo LOVED Sg1! Well, except for the last two seasons, don't even bother. Season 3 is fun, loved Urgo and Crystal Skull. Season four is awesome. Some of my Fav's:

Watched these two a zillion times:
                Season 4, Episode 3: Upgrades
Season 4, Episode 6: Window of Opportunity

Season 4, Episode 11: Point of No Return (Martin!)
                Season 4, Episode 12: Tangent
                Season 4, Episode 16: 2010
Season 4, Episode 17: Absolute Power

Stargate Atlantis is good too. Honestly tho, I'm not sure if I liked as much for the story lines as for the urm... Beefcake! Joe Flannigan is hot . I think Jason Momoa joined the show in the second or third season. This is all I gotta say about him: tinyurl.com/y8rkvjm

Have yet to watch Flash Forward. I'm loving Fringe tho. Throughly enjoyed this past season of True Blood, but nothing compares to LOST! I will be so sad when it's over for good.

There are many ways they can take this story. Not quite Lost but an interesting show if they do it right

I'm *thrilled* with FastForward so far. Yes, best of the new season by a mile.

It's not J.J. Abrams, is it?

The only thing I have not liked is how quickly the 'world' has figured out the Flash Forwards could be their future.
I would have liked to have seen more mystery and greater thinking behind that, but maybe that is yet to come?

That doesn't seem odd to me. With seven billion people on the planet, a *huge* number of people would have been reading newspapers, looking at calendars, etc. Even in remote villages with no internet or television access, it only takes two people knowing what the future date was and confirming with each other that they saw the same future date for that news to spread through the entire village. As for areas *with* TV and/or internet access, that would happen practically instantaneously, say within 24 hours.

yes the math states that with a larger pool - the end result would be reached much faster than say with a smaller more spread out group - technology makes the grouper smaller in a sense

Finally watched the first two episodes. OOOh, I like it! I see what you're (someone) above is saying about it be how quick it was figured out. It seems a bit unlikely that an FBI agent would be the first to admit he thought he saw the future!

The kangaroo was a mystery... and one other thing. Dmitri, where was he immediately after the flash? He was in the car, then flash, then... where'd he go?

Well, to be fair, it's not like he was necessarily the first person in the *world* to admit that; just the first person in that room. And since it was a room full of FBI agents, whoever was the first person in the room to say that would've been an FBI agent.

...true(snicker)... I'm just sayin, it seems more likely that some civilian (an FBI spouse maybe) would bring it to their attention before anyone of them would put it on the table. What if he had been the only one in the room? Time for a psych-eval?
