okay, this is a theory of my friend Morgans Mom.. I've been waitinf for him to post this, so i could see all of your thoughts, but he never did.. SO, here goes :

Her theory is all this is a dream of Locke's.. Here's her supporting
evidence..
1. Locke can walk here.
2. Lock is the hero of the group, kinda the leader with everything, except
for medicine, whiche Jack is the Dr.( Mom points out that Jack's specific
training (Nurosurgery) is the exact science that is needed to Fix Locke's
legs)
3. Locke is guiding the destiny of all the survivors, he is replaying his
war game (remember in the employee lounge, with his friend, playing war
games- he was the general)
This is kinda Locke's way to have his walk-a-bout, even when he was denied
by the tour guide.
She also thinks this dream is happening while Jack is operating on Locke,
tring to fix his legs.
So what do ya'll think?? I can't find any disproving evidence, but maybe
ya'll can..

Locke is not the hero of the group. Nor is he guiding anyones destiny. For him this may be his walkabout, but that's not relevant to the other survivors. Tell her to stay tuned and enjoy the ride...

For Bob Newhart it was cute, but that would be a lousy way to explin it all.
Not to dis your friend or his mom. It's great that people are thinging of ways to explain it all, but it can't be a dream. I'll be forced to get rid of my televisioon if that's how they decide it. -

Tue, February 7, 2006 - 9:20 AMMy fave theory I've heard so far is that they are part of an experiment where they've had their memories erased and the back stories are the memories that have been implanted. WHY this experiment is taking place I have no clue. But if you think about all the back stories, they are incredibly implausible!
