Interesting.

There have been legitimate cases in the past (at least with regard to books and stories) where highly original yet completely independent ideas were developed separately, with no influence one upon the other. I wonder if this is such a case. The alternatives are that this Spinner fellow (unfortunate name to have, in this context) is lying through his teeth, or that Lindelof and Cuse are lying through their teeth.
