Now that we know that Christian/ Claire don't want anything to do with Aaron, what does that mean. Does anyone have any links to any theories.....any guesses....this whole cabin spooky stuff sucks, and it's about time they tell us what's really going on.

Re: What are the theories on Aaron
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 4:34 AMAaron will be playing an integral part in the plot. From Season one (or was it two) we know how important Aaron was and even more crucial that he be raised by Claire (according to the psychic). I am still convinced that when Claire was taken by the Others while she was pregnant, that they *did* something to Aaron in utero. He may very well turn out to be the Antichrist. That little boy is very much a msytery in hmself and I am eager to see where his story takes us... -

Re: What are the theories on Aaron
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 9:40 AMDo we know that Christian and Claire don't want anything to do with Aaron? We know they left him in the jungle but we still don't know why or to what ends. Maybe Claire thinks she is protecting him by leaving him. -

Re: What are the theories on Aaron
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 11:23 AMMy guess is that the reason Christian said that Aaron's "exactly where he's supposed to be" is that he's supposed to be taken off the Island temporarily for his own safety, given that it's infested with mercenaries and picking up and moving soon and all. Kind of like how you might send your kids to stay with their aunt or uncle or a family friend while you're actually moving house so they won't be underfoot. :-P -

Fri, May 9, 2008 - 1:12 PMYes, that makes sense. -

Re: What are the theories on Aaron
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 2:26 PMChristian did say that Aaron was "where he is supposed to be" and he finished that sentence with "not here," so where is Aaron supposed to be? I'm not sure Claire would not be sad even if Aaron is where he should be. Judging by her past attachment with Aaron I still believe she would be sad and showing those type of emotions, not just sitting there smiling all doped out looking. I'm not sure what sense we can make out of all of this. -

There was something odd about Claire, no doubt. But that doesn't equal "wants nothing to do with" as you posted earlier. If I recall correctly, we should have some insight into what's going on with Claire before the end of the season. -

Re: What are the theories on Aaron
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 2:43 PMi don't think it *is* claire, any more than christian is christian, really ... they're manifestations of the island, which seems to be able to use dead people as it's voice. claire was all weird so we knew something weird was going on.
just my theory.. -

Are you saying that Claire is dead? I've been wondering if that's the case. -

Re: What are the theories on Aaron
Mon, May 12, 2008 - 1:46 PMI *really* don't think Claire is dead...she's just following the "White Rabbit" (Christian) down the rabbit hole for her own trip into the Island's "Wonderland", which Jack didn't do when offered the chance (in the aptly-named S.1 episode, "White Rabbit").
